I haven't been the most successful Veganomiconomist, but I think that might be changing. I made the jelly donut cupcakes last week, didn't screw those up (I did the first time). Last night I made snobby joes and hit a home run. I am so excited to not have botched a recipe from that book. It was super tasty and similar enough to o.g. slobby joe's but without the gross guilt of manwich or some powdery packet thing and probably way better for you.
