as much as i want to be glad it's finally over, it doesn't seem so. i wanted so much to celebrate and be excited last night, but i was relegated to quiet rejoicing. this was partly due to the fact that my sister supported the other candidate (p.s. you owe me a drink, i won!). said candidate also was not willing to concede, even though there is no "real" chance of her winning the nomination. after running a horrible campaign now she is "open" to sharing the ticket. i just feel like it's another mini campaign for vice president. i know they have to make nice since it is politics, but let's not go overboard.
then again, i shouldn't worry about about what may or may not happen. regardless of that, something truly amazing has happened over the last year and a half. imagine what could happen in the next four. go go hopemongers!
