compliments are funny. on days when i think i look cute or whatever, no one will tell me anything, so then i think maybe i don't look as good as i thought. then on the "funky thrown together because i've yet to do laundry" day, or the "i really needed a haircut two weeks ago" day, i am hot shit. i haven't done laundry and i really need a haircut, in spite of both, i think i look cute. let's see what everyone else has to say (if anything).

maybe people don't give you compliments when you think you should get them because they are saving them up for when you really need a boost.
