do the write thing

i'm not sure how far this will go or where it will lead, but i am going to give it a chance. every time i get my hair cut we talk about it, but so far neither of us has picked up the phone unless it was about an appointment. at first i was only supposed to read a screenplay and give notes. now we're talking about a writing group. i haven't really written anything (this so does not count) in a long time, so it will be interesting to see what comes out. i'm content to edit for the present. it's flattering that someone trusts me with her work. maybe after shaping someone else's words, my own will be ready to come out.
